Oil Changes and Service
General Information
Annual maintenance always keeps your equipment running at 100% and increases its lifespan. Properly maintaining your golf car's oil is imperative for getting the longest lifespan out of your golf car. Gas golf cars should be serviced once a year (every 12 months) with SAE 10/30 motor oil for Yamaha Golf Cars and SAE 30 motor oil for all other Golf Cars. Spark plugs should be changed with every oil change. Ethanol free or premium gas is recommended. Always remember when driving the golf car, come to a complete stop to change from forward to reverse.Service Details

Tire Installation and Maintenance
General Information
Are your tires bald or do you just want different tires? Either way, we'll fit your golf car with new tires and take care of your installation today. Our standard tire (18 x 8.5 x 8) and lift kit tires (22 x 11 x 8) are already on the rims. Other tires Brands and sizes may be ordered to suit your needs. We can arrange for tires to be mounted on your rims as we do not mount tires in our shop.
Properly maintained Air Pressure in the Standard Stock front tires should be 20 lbs. and 22 lbs. in the rear tires. Inquire about the appropriate air pressure for your type and size of tire!

Battery Charger Inspection and Repair
General Information
Not Sure if your golf car's charging system is working? Don't get frustrated with a dead battery or low battery power. Did you know low battery voltage may prevent your Golf Car Charger from charging your batteries? Regardless of the type of charging system you have, we will bench check the charger at no charge to the customer.Service Details
In most all cases, our technicians will repair your charger while you wait if the charger can be repaired. If chargers can not be repaired, we have chargers available for purchase.

Whether you have a gas or an electric golf car, our trained Service Technicians will get your batteries checked out and get your golf car up and running! If necessary, we will also load test your batteries at no charge to the customer or discharge your batteries (charge of ½ hr. labor cost) to ensure your golf car batteries are fully operational for the riding season.

Serial Numbers
General Information
It is important for you to know where your Serial Number is located. Serial Numbers for golf cars are used on multiple occasions for identification of make, model, and parts. It is also used to identify your car when it is brought into Sasser Golf Cars, Inc. for service and/or repair. Insurance companies will also ask for the Serial Number when insuring your golf car. Serial Numbers are located in more than one place on your golf car.
Service Details
SERIAL NUMBER LOCATION:
CLUB CARClub Car DS Models – Serial Number is located directly under the Key Switch panel.
Since 2004 Precedent and Onward model Club Car® Golf Car's serial numbers are located just under the glove box on the passenger side of the vehicle. The serial number of each vehicle is printed on a bar code decal. The two letters at the beginning of the serial number indicate the vehicle model. The next two digits after the letters indicate the year. All numbers following the space or dash are the sequential number in which that vehicle rolled off the line in its assembly year.
E-Z-GO
After 1976, and up to the year 1993, the serial number used to be placed beneath the side dashboard of the passenger.
Marathon and Medalist Models:
· The manufacturer number will have 1 letter followed by 3 or 4 numbers
· 2 of the grouped numbers will indicate the year of production
· The manufacturers number and serial number for these E-Z-GO golf car models can be found on a plate in the passenger side glove box. The manufacturers number DOES reflect the model year. This number will usually be: One letter followed by 3 to 4 numbers. These numbers will include the last 2 digits of the model year.
Early E-Z-GO TXT models have the model date code embedded in the Serial Number.
Golf Car descriptions:
EZGO Marathon made in the years 1979 – 1994
· Two separate seat backs
· Plastic front bumper
· No Top Handles
· The model and serial numbers can be found on the plate located under the passenger side glove compartment
EZGO Medalist made in the years 1994 – 1995
· Connected seat back
· Plastic front bumper
· Top with Handles
· Serial Number located on a plate located inside the passenger side glove compartment
EZGO TXT made in the years 1996 – Present
· Connected seat back
· NO Plastic Front Bumper
· Top with Handles
· Serial Number located on a plate inside the passenger side glove compartment
· Newer TXT’s Serial Numbers are located on the driver’s side frame rail under driver’s foot area or lift the black plastic flap on the backside of the battery compartment
EZGO RXV made in the years 2008 – Current
· Connected seat back
· Rounded front fenders with large bumper on front
· Molded plastic roof with handles
· Serial Number located in 3 different places. One is placed on the steering column, the 2nd is located on the frame under the front splash shield on the driver’s side, and the 3rd is located on the passenger side frame rail at the rear of the cart
YAMAHA1. The serial number could be located in one or more locations:
a. Under the driver’s or passenger’s side seat towards the front.
b. Under the driver’s or passenger’s side seat towards the rear.
c. Under the rear bumper on the frame.
d. Under driver side glove box.
e. The driver’s or passenger side rear tire underneath the golf car, best viewed from the back of the car.
