Disconnecting the batteries - Electric Golf Cars
- Disable the golf car.
	
- A. Set the park brake.
 - B. Turn the key switch OFF and remove the key.
 - C. Place the Forward/Reverse control in the NEUTRAL position.
 - D. In addition, chock the wheels if servicing or repairing the vehicle.
 
 - Place Tow/Run switch in the TOW position before disconnecting or connecting the batteries. Failure to heed this warning could result in a battery explosion or severe personal / electrical injury.
 - Disconnect the batteries, negative (–) cable first. After disconnecting the batteries, wait 90 seconds for the controller capacitors to discharge or flip the Forward/Reverse switch to Reverse and the backup buzzer will discharge the capacitor.
 
Connecting the batteries - Electric Golf Cars
- Ensure the Tow/Run switch is in the TOW position.
 - Connect the battery cables, positive (+) cable first.
 - Tighten battery terminal to proper torque.
 - Coat terminals with Battery Terminal Protector Spray to minimize corrosion.
 - Place the Tow/Run switch in the RUN position.
